Åsele Municipality is seeking a Coordinator, Elder Care Job Responsibilities Do you thrive as the "hub of the operation"? Are you driven by finding solutions? Do you have an eye for logistics and economics? Then you're the right person for this job. As a coordinator, you work closely with staff and the unit manager to ensure that our care recipients receive their approved services. You maintain an overall perspective regarding the operation's needs. You are responsible for procuring temporary staff and have delegated responsibility from the unit manager to revise planning when necessary and call in personnel. Planning and scheduling are done in the municipality's administrative system. In your role as coordinator, you are responsible for planning and overseeing the introduction and onboarding of new employees, which is continuously monitored. You maintain close contact with work groups to follow up on quality work in daily operations. You participate in development work and the implementation of new routines and methods. Planning of work tasks occurs through good dialogue and agreement with the unit manager. Qualifications We are looking for someone with IT proficiency and interest in working with operational systems. As a person, you are attentive and have strong collaboration skills. You are comfortable taking responsibility and are flexible in your work approach. You enjoy challenges and see opportunities with a strong interest in quality work. It is advantageous if you have experience in healthcare and elderly care to understand the operation's needs. Scope 1 position, fixed-term employment to cover for regular staff absence, from December 1, 2026 through July 31, 2027 with possible extension.
