Working as a Coordinating Nurse at the On-Call Unit As a coordinating nurse with us, you combine clinical work with a coordinating responsibility for the on-call operations. Your mission is to contribute to safe, professional, and accessible psychiatric care for patients with acute and urgent needs, while you, with support from management, plan and develop the work at the on-call unit. You are responsible for consultation, psychiatric assessments, and coordination of care interventions in close collaboration with on-call physicians and other professionals. The role also includes a special responsibility for ensuring a structured approach within the on-call unit. Your coordinating responsibilities include: • Planning and coordination of daily operations at the on-call unit • Scheduling • Orientation and support for new employees • Updating routines and processes • Development and improvement of work methods together with management and colleagues You work independently, but never alone – around you is a multiprofessional team of colleagues you work closely with. Main responsibilities: • Staffing the on-call telephone line with advisory and supportive calls to patients and family members • Assessment and triage of patients with mental health issues, including suicide risk assessments • Participation in on-call physician visits and independent follow-up of patients • Home visits when assessment is needed due to patient deterioration • Development and updating of care and crisis plans • Coordination and development of work within the on-call unit Working hours vary between day, evening, and weekend shifts, with schedules created in consultation with you. Your New Workplace WeMind Psychiatry in Rinkeby is an outpatient psychiatric clinic with a psychosis clinic and on-call unit. At the on-call unit, approximately seven colleagues work together, valuing collaboration, knowledge sharing, and a good work environment. The clinic employs approximately 40 people in total. About You • Licensed nurse (required) • Specialist nurse in psychiatry (meriting) • Experience from similar work within psychiatry (meriting) • Experience with coordination or team leadership (meriting) • Class B driver's license (meriting) You are confident working independently and experienced with telephone and video-based assessments. You have a structured approach to work, strong collaboration skills, and thrive in a role where you can take responsibility and contribute to business development.
