Job Duties
Your responsibilities will include processing cultural grants, compiling statistics for, for example, annual reports, and conducting financial follow-ups. You will investigate and prepare matters within the cultural field and respond to consultation requests. You will also provide support to Sametinget's cultural politicians. You will collaborate with various cultural actors and authorities. Other tasks may occur. Travel is part of the position.
Your Qualifications
We are looking for someone with a university or college degree in culture or another field that the employer considers relevant, or equivalent professional experience. You must have good knowledge of Sami culture and cultural life. You should be able to express yourself well in speech and writing. Knowledge of the Sami language is a merit. Previous experience with case management and grant administration as well as financial follow-ups is also a merit. Basic knowledge of economics and experience in public administration and politically governed activities is desirable.
Personal Qualities
You are self-driven and solution-oriented. You plan, organize, and carry out your work in a structured and efficient manner. It is important that you are flexible and have good collaboration skills, since we work with varying assignments and different partners.
Employment Terms
Full-time. Permanent position. Start date: September 21, 2026, or by agreement.
