Your Role As a sales manager/assistant store manager at Lidl, you are the store manager's right hand and have a natural place in store management. You motivate and inspire the store team to reach their full potential every day and ensure that tasks are completed efficiently, correctly, and on time. You naturally participate in daily store operations and work together with the team to give our customers the best store experience. The role includes tasks such as: • Ensure and deliver excellent customer service in the store • Support the store manager in daily store operations and ensure you reach results by leading, motivating and developing store staff, as well as participating in daily operations in an exemplary manner • Ensure that the store lives up to our core pillars of customer friendliness, product availability, freshness, cleanliness, and profitability • Work strategically with the store's key metrics • Coordinate and organize training and further education for all store employees • You also have overall responsibility for store operations when the store manager is not present Your Profile We're looking for someone with experience leading and developing teams in a fast-paced and results-oriented environment. You have strong problem-solving skills and are good at planning and delegating tasks. You're driven by your strong customer focus and always prioritize customer experience. Exceeding set goals and maximizing productivity when working with your team is something you see as a given. Beyond that, you're a good communicator and can develop the team and store through feedback. We also see that you: • Have completed upper secondary education or equivalent, preferably with a focus on retail. • Speak Swedish fluently in both speech and writing. We consider it an advantage if you have previous experience working as an assistant store manager, store manager, or department manager in grocery retail or another service-oriented industry.
