As a sales leader/assistant store manager at Lidl, you are the store manager's right hand and have a natural place in store management. You motivate and inspire the store team to reach their full potential every day and ensure that tasks are completed efficiently, correctly, and on time. You naturally participate in daily store operations and work alongside the team to give our customers the best store experience. The role includes tasks such as: • Ensure and deliver excellent customer service in the store • Support the store manager in daily store operations and ensure results are achieved by leading, motivating, and developing store staff while actively participating in daily work as a role model • Ensure the store lives up to our core pillars of customer friendliness, product availability, freshness, cleanliness, and profitability • Work goal-oriented with the store's key metrics • Coordinate and organize training and further education for all store employees • You also have full responsibility for store operations when the store manager is not present We're looking for someone with experience leading and developing teams in a fast-paced, results-oriented environment. You have strong problem-solving skills and are excellent at planning and delegating work tasks. You are driven by a strong customer focus and always prioritize customer experience. Exceeding set goals and maximizing productivity in your work with the team is second nature to you. Beyond that, you are a good communicator and can develop the team and store through feedback. We also see that you: • Have completed secondary education or equivalent, preferably with a focus on retail. • Speak and write Swedish fluently. We consider it an advantage if you have previous experience working as an assistant store manager, store manager, or department manager in grocery retail or another service-oriented industry.
