As a responsible sales manager with us, you will share responsibility for the confectionery and specialty department, covering merchandise selection, finances, operations, purchasing, product development, and customer inspiration. Job Responsibilities: You will be responsible for daily merchandise operations and consistently inspire customers with our assortment, ideas, new products, and interesting current local suppliers in confectionery/specialty. An important part of the work is maintaining proper communication, price perception, and creating a unified structure in the department. Your responsibilities include planning, establishing and anchoring routines, sales steering, sales planning, maintaining sales momentum in the department, and continuously working to keep the department well-stocked and clean. You work weekly with orders and campaigns. The position includes working toward set goals and departmental budgets. Your work also includes participating in team picking in all departments in the store and directing the team when they pick in your department. The position involves merchandise picking, customer service, and some administrative work. The position includes weekdays, evenings, and weekends. We are looking for someone with initiative and strong positive energy. You should be a role model. It is important to see the customer's needs and gladly provide the best customer service. You should be able to handle stressful situations and have the ability to see the bigger picture in your work. You should be outgoing, enjoy leading a group but also be able to work independently. You should also be organized with good attention to order, enjoy development and be engaged, focus on sales, operations, and creating good profitability. Qualifications: Many years of experience in a leadership position in grocery retail. Very good knowledge of store economics. Are organized and have good quality awareness. As a sales manager, you report to the sales manager for the department. The position is 36.45 hours/week. We offer a permanent position with an initial probationary period of 6 months.
