We are now looking for a driven Sales Manager for our Coop Kågeröd store! As a Sales Manager, you have sales, operations, and financial responsibility for your department in the store. You work closely with the Store Manager, Sales Manager, and employees to optimize and contribute to the store's development and success, both in the short and long term. In your customer-oriented leadership, you drive your department commercially, based on set goals, together with professional leadership and customer service. Your work includes: Leading sales efforts within your area of responsibility to achieve increased sales, results, and customer satisfaction Creating a sales-driven and inspiring environment in your department Working with Coop's shared culture and values Ensuring daily operations – staffing, merchandise supply, price maintenance, etc. Initiating, leading, and driving various initiatives to improve profitability and results Coaching and planning for employees within your area of responsibility, such as work distribution, competency development, onboarding new employees, ensuring adherence to routines and regulations, etc. Following up on sales development, budgets, and margins and actively working to reduce waste and shrinkage Ensuring compliance with Coop's sustainability policy Participating in daily operations – cashier work, merchandise picking, etc. This is a permanent position at 38.15h/week. A trial period may apply. Your working hours may vary as we are open when our customers want to shop, from morning to evening, Monday to Sunday. The position requires experience and competence in grocery and/or retail sales or another similar service profession Experience in managing staff Documented good sales results in retail is advantageous Good computer skills are required. Previous experience with SAP, HR+, and SoftOne is advantageous Education High school education is a requirement Post-secondary education or university is advantageous We are looking for someone with a strong focus on sales and a strong drive to create profitability. You are creative and not afraid to try new approaches in your work. Furthermore, you enjoy working in a continuous development environment, see and act from a whole store perspective.
