As a Sales Associate (temporary position) with us at Coop Traryd, you will be an important part of the daily operations in the store. In close contact with both food and customers, you and your colleagues will create a store environment that is always welcoming and inspiring. The work is varied and practical where you, together with your team, are responsible for ensuring the store is fresh and well-stocked every day.
Who are you?
We are looking for someone who has a genuine interest in food, service, and retail work, and who thrives in an environment where the pace is often high and tasks vary. You are thorough, responsible, and confident in handling stressful situations when needed. The work is physical and involves heavy lifting, which you see as a natural part of a day in a grocery store. Above all, you are a team player who enjoys collaborating and contributing to a positive and energetic atmosphere among both colleagues and customers.
Your main responsibilities
Provide world-class service – always see, greet, and help the customer.
Ensure that shelves, counters, and refrigeration units are well-stocked, fresh, and properly faced.
Build eye-catching displays
Work at the checkout
Handle food management
Manage complaints and customer inquiries
Keep the store's different sections neat and organized
Help with light cleaning, maintenance, and equipment care.
Follow procedures regarding waste, physical inventory, and safety.
Contribute to a good work climate and actively participate in improvement work.
Depending on the store's needs, the position may also include:
Product orders and receiving checks.
Price changes, shelf edge labels, and promotional signage.
Work in service areas such as deli, bakery, or produce.
CAO system handling.

This is a part-time position of 24 h/week (We apply a trial employment period). Working hours are scheduled during daytime on weekdays. Requirements
Good Swedish in speech and writing is required
18 years of age, as you will need to work independently at the checkout
Meritorious:
Experience and knowledge from retail and/or other service professions are advantageous
High school education.
Multilingual abilities.
Basic knowledge in retail economics or food handling.
