As a Sales Associate at Coop Vaggeryd, you are responsible for performing all common tasks in the store and ensuring the best possible customer service. You are an important face of the company and work according to Coop's guidelines, routines, and values. You are a key person in customer interactions and in the work of creating a pleasant and inspiring store. We are looking for someone who is service-oriented, positive, and thrives in a fast-paced environment where you meet many people every day. To succeed in the role, we see that you have good physical fitness as the work can involve heavy lifting, and that you have a strong willingness to learn and develop in your role. Main responsibilities Restocking and facing merchandise Building sales displays Cashier work Handling complaints and grievances according to procedures Inventory checks, cleaning, and organization in the store, warehouse, and staff areas Maintenance and cleaning of machines and equipment Following inventory and shrink procedures Contributing to continuous improvements and a good work environment Depending on the store's needs, you may also work with: Merchandise ordering Returns, receiving inspections, and delivery notes Handling CAO Price labeling and campaign signage Price changes Opening and closing the store according to applicable procedures. This position is a zero-hour contract with zero guaranteed hours, but the store manager or equivalent person will contact you when hours are available. Start date immediately or by agreement. Working hours vary and are scheduled for daytime and evening shifts as well as weekends. We use a trial employment period. Requirements Good Swedish in speech and writing is required 18 years of age, as you must be able to work independently at the register Merits: Experience and competence from retail and/or other service occupations are a plus High school education.
