The Security Department plays a central role in the authority's work on security, protection, and preparedness. The department is responsible for developing, coordinating, and monitoring the authority's security efforts by analyzing external developments, delivering protective measures, and implementing and further developing processes, routines, and working methods. The work is carried out within three units and encompasses both preventive and operational measures. The department is led by the Chief of Security, and each unit is led by a unit manager. Your Responsibilities As a Security Specialist, you are expected to have a central role in operational security work and coordinate security measures together with operations within the Stockholm Prosecution District provide support to managers and operations in handling and managing security matters, for example in preparation for court proceedings and in cases of threats, violence, or other unlawful influence directed at the authority's employees together with operations managers conduct risk analyses, develop protection plans, conduct training, and coordinate security work and employee protection within the Stockholm Prosecution District regularly collaborate locally and regionally with other authorities, as well as participate in crisis management exercises and training support the authority on other security matters based on arising needs or where the employer determines there are particular needs based on your competence and ability. The work involves travel within the district and to some extent within the country. If needed, you may also be used as a resource throughout the country. Scheduled national on-call duty is included as part of the job responsibilities. As a Security Specialist, you report to the head of the Operational Security Unit. Your Qualities and Qualifications We are looking for someone who has post-secondary education in a relevant security field, such as police training, officer training, or other post-secondary education that the employer considers equivalent multi-year experience in operational security work, preferably within the framework of the police's crime victim and personal security work (BOPS) or similar personal protection/security work and/or security operations good communication skills as well as excellent ability to express yourself in speech and writing in Swedish good analytical ability regarding issues related to threats and risks. It is advantageous if you have experience working with crisis management and crisis leadership documented experience in independently conducting risk and security assessments experience with travel security and/or international security served as a supervisor at an operational or strategic level experience with strategic and operational security work within the legal system. Great weight will be placed on your personal qualities. About the Employment The employment is a permanent position with a 6-month probationary period. Placement location is Stockholm. Tests are part of the recruitment process. The position is classified as a security position and therefore includes security clearance with background check. Swedish citizenship is a requirement for this employment. The Public Prosecution Authority is a civil protection authority.
