About the job
As a security specialist, you will work broadly with security matters and further develop the agency's security efforts. We have been a preparedness authority since 2022 and must therefore have good capacity to manage our tasks even during crisis situations and heightened readiness.
You will participate in developing the agency's competence and capacity to prevent and manage security-related incidents. An important part of the work is working with personnel security, as well as other work within the security and preparedness field. This also includes developing and conducting training, workshops, and certain exercise activities related to security.
You may also work with coordinating tasks related to security and preparedness work.

You report to the agency's security manager/security protection manager and work closely with existing functions for information security and other security matters. You also collaborate extensively with the agency's other operations and with other authorities. Organizationally, you belong to the Unit for Information Management and Security and are part of the security function within the unit.
You will work at our modern and spacious office in Solna Business Park. You will also have the opportunity to work up to 50 percent remotely.

For this job, you should have
post-secondary education in security, or other post-secondary education combined with work experience that we consider equivalent,
good knowledge of civil defense work and heightened preparedness,
good knowledge of the laws governing agencies' crisis and preparedness work in peacetime,
knowledge of regulations regarding personnel security and security protection,
very good communication skills in both speech and writing in Swedish,
experience working in public service,
experience working with security protection, especially in the personnel security field.
It is meritorious if you have work experience in a coordinating role and good knowledge of interview methodology.
As a person, you need to
have good collaboration skills and enjoy cooperating with others and working in teams, as you will have many collaboration points both internally and externally in this role,
have the ability to plan and work toward set goals,
be communicative and have pedagogical skills to be able to educate and adapt communication regarding security matters,
be able to analyze situations to identify problems and find solutions.
Important to know
The application deadline is August 10. The employment is at 50% and permanent and begins with a probationary period of six months.
We place high demands on your security and confidentiality awareness. Before a decision on employment is made, a security clearance will be conducted according to the Security Protection Act (2018:585). Because we are a preparedness authority, you may be war-deployed at Skolverket upon employment.
