About the Company
The 104th Base Security Company provides the higher commander with situational awareness regarding security threats within the 1st Naval Base Battalion's area of operations. The company is sized to identify and respond to qualified adversaries on land and in the archipelago. The 104th Base Security Company belongs to the 1st Naval Base Battalion, which is one of the Naval Base's standing combat units. The naval base battalions' mission is to provide logistics support to naval units from land and at sea, both within ordinary operations and during deployments.
We are seeking GSS/K for the following positions:
Security Soldier
Boat Operator
Dog Handler
SUAV Operator
Main Responsibilities
As a soldier, you will serve with one of the company's platoons and be part of a security or reconnaissance patrol. Your task, together with other patrol members, is to gather intelligence or respond to security threats using various methods and combinations of sensors.
REQUIREMENTS
Qualifications
Completed military service at minimum (JA-2-2) or equivalent military basic training
Approved according to Fmfyss. Field test 10:15, 10km in 48min, Multitest: 300p, swimming 400m, and life-saving skills
B-class driver's license
Normal color vision
No dog allergies or dog phobia
Personal Qualities
You are responsible, thorough, and have good initiative. You work well with others and can operate both independently and in various team configurations, sometimes under challenging conditions for extended periods. You are unpretentious and adaptable to changing situations, and you easily switch between different tasks. You are detail-oriented with a structured work approach and the ability to adjust pace when needed. Great importance will be placed on personal suitability.

Interview and Tests
After an initial selection, applicants will be called for interviews and selection tests. On the selection day, the following will be conducted:
- 10km run
- Muscle strength (step-ups with 25kg, pull-ups, deadlifts, dips)
- Security vetting interview
Other Information
Employment Form: Employment as GSS/K is made under the support of the Act (2012:3329) on certain Swedish Armed Forces employment. The position is a soldier position under the Swedish Armed Forces' collective agreement for non-commissioned officers, soldiers, and sailors (GSS/K) and begins with a 6-month probationary period that transitions to employment up to 6 years, with the possibility of extension for an additional 6 years.

Full-time Employment
Start Date: 2026-10-05 by agreement.
Tests and interviews will be scheduled on an ongoing basis and are planned for 2026-09-04.
