UL operates buses to Forsmark with wireless networks on the routes Gävle-Forsmark and Uppsala-Forsmark, which give you the opportunity to use travel time as working time when/if work allows. Buses to and from Forsmark are adapted to daytime staff working hours. You also have the opportunity to use our remote work spaces in Gävle and Uppsala or work from home when/if work allows.

We are expanding the security protection department and are now looking for two security protection strategists with a focus on information and IT security.
What will you do?
As a security protection strategist, you contribute to Forsmark having strong and effective security protection. You participate in or lead work to ensure, manage and develop processes and operations within information and IT security. You work closely with colleagues in the department and together you support each other in leading, coordinating, developing and monitoring Forsmark's security protection work.
Your role contains both strategic, tactical and operational tasks. Your main focus within security protection will be responsibility for information and IT security.
This position is part of the work underway at Forsmark to strengthen security protection, and you now have the opportunity to be part of this development journey.
Examples of work tasks:
Compliance requirements including NIS2, PMFS
Support in information classification work
Incident management and investigation
Development of working methods and methodology
Participation in development projects
Participation in security protection reviews
Support and training in information security
Training in the field of IT security

Who are you?
You have the ability and interest to independently find solutions for improvements and development within your area of work and it is natural for you to take responsibility and complete tasks. You have a very good ability to collaborate. You have good analytical skills from a holistic perspective and keep yourself updated on changes in legislation and industry practices. You enjoy collaborating with different parts of the organization to achieve common goals.
We see that you have
Higher education or other post-secondary education in security or IT, e.g. from the Defense University, law, security protection training
Experience in developing governing and supporting documents within the security protection area
Knowledge of the Security Protection Act, the Cybersecurity Act and the Security Police's guidance on security protection
Good ability to communicate in speech and writing
Meritorious if you have
Experience of signal protection
Education in, and experience with cyber/IT security work
