The Swedish Police Authority is Sweden's largest government agency with approximately 40,700 employees nationwide, and we are now looking for you to work with security protection in the National Systematic Security group. The Security Department is a national department within the Swedish Police Authority led by the department head, who also serves as the agency's security and security protection chief. The department has national responsibility for the Police Authority's operational and security protection. The department shall direct, support, coordinate, and help create conditions for police regions and other departments within the areas of information security, personnel security, physical security, procurement security, and employee protection. The National Security Unit is tasked with directing, supporting, and coordinating processes within these areas. This involves developing, implementing, and further developing capabilities and normative tools such as guidelines, routines, templates, etc. Work is conducted in close collaboration with the Regional Security Unit. Job Description In your role as a Security Protection Specialist, you join a team working strategically to implement and develop the Police Authority's systematic security protection efforts. You also work independently with the opportunity to direct how you approach your tasks. You contribute to the unit's and department's objectives within security protection work. Your work tasks include: Security protection analysis, security protection planning, self-inspections, position analysis Develop and implement the agency's and department's systematic security protection efforts Develop, implement, and maintain guidelines, routines, and methodological support within security protection Lead change initiatives Provide advice and training in security protection Participate as a specialist in internal and external forums Respond to referrals and statements Prepare matters for the unit's strategic management group Travel occurs as part of the work. Qualifications This is an opportunity for you who have: Post-secondary education that the employer considers relevant for the position Experience working strategically and systematically with security protection analysis that the employer considers relevant Experience in developing and implementing control documents, routines, or similar within the security protection field Experience in an advisory and training role Experience working in security-sensitive operations Experience leading change and development initiatives Very good ability to express yourself orally and in writing in Swedish Good ability to express yourself orally and in writing in English Swedish citizenship It is meritorious if you also have: Experience working in a larger organization Documented experience influencing, reshaping, and working with existing processes Experience in business development within one or more of the security protection areas Personal Qualities To fit this role, we see that you need the ability to see the bigger picture, be initiative-taking, structured, and change-oriented.
