As a Security Coordinator at Mölndal City, you will be placed in the city's security and emergency preparedness unit, which is part of the Legal Affairs and Government Management Department within the City Administration. The unit currently consists of a unit manager and four security coordinators and will be expanded with one additional security coordinator during the year. Together, the unit is responsible for governance, coordination, support and monitoring of the city's work on crisis preparedness, civil defense, security protection, information security and certain other security matters in accordance with applicable legislation and internal management documents. The unit works together with departments and companies within the city, other authorities, municipalities and organizations.

WORK DUTIES
We are looking for someone who wants to help strengthen the city's ability to protect and withstand disruptions to socially critical operations.
Your main task will initially consist of contributing to the development of Mölndal City's security protection in various forms. You will work at both strategic and operational levels. You will conduct analyses and assessments and lead development projects within security protection. You will provide support to affected departments in their work through advice and training. The duties involve extensive cooperation with the city's various operations.
The assignment includes preparing management documents and procedures in applicable parts, participating in procurements and responding to consultations. You will also participate in other assignments within the unit's areas of responsibility.
The content of the position may develop over time.
QUALIFICATIONS
We are looking for someone with relevant university education, or other education that together with experience is deemed equivalent. We would like your university education to be in the fields of technology or political science.
You have education and experience working with security protection, have good knowledge in the field and are well familiar with the legislation. You have training in information security and/or physical protection. It is a merit if you have a background in total defense or technical socially critical operations. It is advantageous if you have worked in public service.
As a person you are responsible, structured, analytical, solution-focused and thorough. You are a good writer with experience in formulating action plans and reports. You have good communication and pedagogical skills and are accustomed to working independently. We expect you to be comfortable collaborating both within your own department and with other operations in the municipality, other authorities and other external parties. In the role of security coordinator, both responsiveness, risk awareness and high integrity are required.
To be eligible for the position of security coordinator, you must have Swedish citizenship, as the employment involves placement in a security clearance class.
