We are looking for an information security coordinator who wants to help further strengthen the region's cybersecurity efforts. Our IT/MT department's mission is to lead digitalization efforts in the region and create the right conditions to develop work methods and drive innovation through new technology. What we are looking for We are looking for someone with relevant education at university or college level, or equivalent knowledge that the employer considers equivalent. You have knowledge of information security, for example through familiarity with the ISO/IEC 27000 series, and experience with information classification according to SKR's KLASSA. We would like you to have experience working with information security and risk management, where you have contributed to developing or following up security work in organizations. Experience in risk management within information security is a merit. We place great importance on your personal qualities. To succeed in the role, you are communicative and able to clearly convey messages and create understanding in the organization. You work in a structured manner and have good problem-solving abilities and can analyze and handle complex issues within the information security field. The role also requires that you are independent and take responsibility for your tasks and drive processes forward on your own initiative. What you will be working with The role as Information Security Coordinator involves supporting the organization and ensuring that information security work is carried out in accordance with applicable laws and regulations, which you do, among other things, by participating in information classifications and risk analyses as well as risk management. You will be involved in driving the development, implementation and monitoring of information security work in close collaboration with the team and the Chief Information Security Officer (CISO). Start date by agreement. Selection and interviews are ongoing and the position may be filled before the final application deadline. The position is classified as a security position, which means that a security clearance will be conducted in accordance with the Security Protection Act (2018:585) and the Security Protection Ordinance (2018:658). Region Norrbotten applies individual salary setting according to collective agreement.
