At Region Norrbotten, we are now expanding the team working with information security. We are looking for a senior information security coordinator who wants to help further strengthen the region's cybersecurity initiatives. Our IT/MT department is tasked with leading the digitalization efforts in the region and creating the right conditions to develop work methods and drive innovation with new technology. What we're looking for We are looking for someone with relevant education at university or college level, or equivalent knowledge that the employer considers equivalent. You have at least five years of experience working with information security and good knowledge of the ISO/IEC 27000 series and information classification according to SKR's KLASSA. You also have knowledge of NIS2 and GDPR. Furthermore, you have experience with risk management and work with information classification. It is meritorious if you have experience controlling and monitoring compliance with requirements both internally and externally. Certifications in the information security field, such as ISO 27001 Lead Implementer/Lead Auditor, CISM, CISSP, CRISC, or certifications in NIS2, GDPR, or data protection, are meritorious. We place great emphasis on personal qualities. To succeed in the role, you are communicative, work in a structured manner, and have a systematic approach where you plan, organize, and follow up on your work in an efficient way. Furthermore, you have good problem-solving skills and can analyze complex issues. The role also requires independence, where you take responsibility for your tasks and drive the work forward on your own initiative. What you'll be working with The role of Information Security Coordinator involves providing support to the organization and ensuring that information security work is conducted in accordance with applicable laws and regulations. You will do this by, among other things, participating in information classifications and risk analyses as well as risk management. You will be involved in driving the development, monitoring, and implementation of information security work in close collaboration with the team and the Chief Information Security Officer (CISO). Start date by agreement. Selection and interviews are ongoing and the position may be filled before the final application deadline. The position is placed in a security class, which means that a security clearance will be conducted in accordance with the Security Protection Act (2018:585) and the Security Protection Regulation (2018:658).
