The Joint Management Administration consists of the operational areas Democracy & Service, Economics & Procurement, Working Life & Digital Technology, Strategic Community Planning, Rescue Services & Safety, and the staff unit. The administration's mission is to lead, support, and coordinate the entire municipal organization on behalf of the municipal board. This is done by keeping customer needs in focus and by having a holistic perspective and common working methods. The operational area Rescue Services and Safety is characterized by responsibility, cooperation, and a strong commitment to society. Here we work to create security for residents and businesses through preventive work, supervision, education, and emergency and crisis response. The work is varied and can range from operational rescue operations to planning, risk analyses, and information initiatives. With professionalism, respect, and care, we meet people in both everyday situations and acute emergencies. Within the Civil Protection and Preparedness unit, matters such as public authority operations, advisory services, education including communications, civil preparedness, security, insurance, crisis preparedness, and heightened readiness are handled. 1 position(s). WORK TASKS As Security Coordinator, you will work together with your colleagues to drive and coordinate security issues in the unit and provide qualified support to the rest of the organization. You will have the opportunity to lead development work within security, which includes identifying and analyzing risks and planning how to address them. Your work tasks include managing operational security and security protection for Motala Municipality. When needed, you will develop proposals for new and revised governing documents and serve as an expert both to elected representatives and operational units. You are expected to be able to lead and coordinate cross-sectional working groups in the municipality, as well as represent the municipality externally in matters concerning security and collaborate with authorities and other actors. QUALIFICATIONS Formal Qualifications: • You have post-secondary education in areas such as operational security and security protection. You may also have other education in combination with work experience that the employer considers relevant. • Further education and/or certification within the security field, for example security protection, signal protection, and similar. • You have good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written. • You hold a B-category driver's license. • It is advantageous if you have worked in a municipal organization and have experience in security work, as well as knowledge of relevant legislation in the field. • It is also advantageous if you have experience in conducting training and/or exercise activities. You do your best by doing what you can right now. You quickly find solutions to problems that arise. Salary Form: Monthly salary. Employment Form: Permanent employment. Duration: 6 months or longer; Start Date: According to agreement with recruiting manager.
