Security Advisor and Operations Support, External Transport in Arlöv

Transport and Vehicles is part of Regionservice and is responsible for external transportation of goods, laundry, and mail to Region Skåne's hospitals, care units, and patients throughout Skåne. The fleet is distributed across four units and consists of approximately 80 employees. The business is characterized by collaboration, commitment, and high service awareness. We operate from Stora Bernstorp in Arlöv and handle everything from courier and truck transport to specialized vehicles, such as the mobile blood donor unit. 1 position(s). RESPONSIBILITIES The role is placed within the External Transport 4 unit and combines specialist duties as a security advisor in the transport of hazardous goods (approximately 60 percent) with operations-related administrative support to unit managers within Transport and Vehicles (approximately 40 percent). In your role as security advisor, you are responsible for ensuring compliance with laws, regulations, and internal guidelines. You develop and update governing documents, procedures, and instructions, plan and conduct training and information initiatives, and provide support and advice to the business units. The role also includes driving improvement work within safety and regulatory compliance, following up on incidents, deviations, and accidents, and preparing business plans, annual reports, and decision-making documents. You also participate in procurements, projects, and investigations, and serve as a contact person with authorities and internal business units. The operational administrative part of the role includes support in follow-up, quality, internal control, and process development. The work involves coordinating and following up on operational matters and producing statistics, reports, presentations, and decision-making documents. The role also includes contributing to quality, environmental, and business development, as well as responsibility for document management and structuring of governing documents. Furthermore, the role includes participation in change and development initiatives, including implementation of new working methods and projects within the business area. QUALIFICATIONS We welcome you who have relevant higher education or university education, or alternatively other education that the employer deems equivalent. Examples of relevant education include Transport and Logistics Management, Transport Management, or Logistics Service Management. Education in Supply Chain Management and environment and health and safety with a focus on chemical handling, environmental legislation, and risk assessment is also relevant. We are looking for someone with very strong administrative skills and good knowledge of Microsoft 365. You also have very strong ability to communicate in Swedish, both orally and in writing, and hold a valid class B driving license. It is advantageous if you have experience from public sector operations and from transport, logistics, or vehicle-related fields. We would appreciate strong knowledge of ADR and regulations on hazardous goods transport by road, as well as experience in business development and improvement work. Experience in developing governing documents, procedures, and reports is also an advantage. Furthermore, it is advantageous if you have completed training as a security advisor for hazardous goods transport and hold a valid certificate issued by MSB. If you lack certification, the employer offers training and covers the costs for obtaining the certificate. You enjoy switching between specialist assignments and operational support, where you contribute to increased structure, develop working methods, and support managers and business units. From a holistic perspective, you ensure that the organization complies with applicable legal requirements for hazardous goods transport. Salary range for the role: 38,000–45,000 SEK per month.
