The position of Security Officer – Physical Security is placed at the Security and Preparedness Office within the section for Business and Security Protection. The office is responsible for overall management and coordination of the agency's security and preparedness work. Within the office, the following subject areas are handled: civil defense and preparedness, employee protection, business protection, security protection, and crime prevention coordination.

You will
develop and maintain the agency's systematic security work within the field of physical security
work within the following areas: management, coordination and support, systematic fire protection, supply chain security, security in and around security systems (access control systems, burglar alarms and camera surveillance), incident management, training, identification and authorization control, building and telecommunications security measures, and postal protection
work with developing and revising guiding and supporting documents
manage projects and sub-projects regarding installations, renovations, new construction, and extensions related to physical security
control and follow up on security work within the field.
You must have
completed education from a university or university college with a focus on protection or security, or other post-secondary education in combination with several years of experience in the protection or security field that we consider equivalent
several years of professional experience in physical security, where you have independently and in cooperation with others worked with detection, prevention, and management of security and security protection measures including dimensioning, management, coordination, and support within the field
good knowledge of regulations related to physical security, for example from the Swedish Lock, Alarm and Security Association (SSF lock, alarm and security classes) and the Swedish Fire Protection Association (SBF fire alarms, flammable materials)
good knowledge of security protection and handling of security-classified information and documents
very good knowledge of Swedish both verbally and in writing
B-category driver's license.
It is advantageous if you also have
knowledge and experience regarding procurement and supplier management within the field of physical security, for example in security technology, surveillance, secure storage, or fire protection
knowledge and experience in information or cybersecurity
knowledge about NATO and its regulations for physical security
knowledge of TEMPEST
experience working in public service.

The employment is permanent with placement at the office in Norrköping. Employment according to agreement. We normally apply probationary employment. As an employee with us, there is an opportunity to work remotely up to three days a week. It is the needs of the business and the nature of the work tasks that determine whether and to what extent it is possible. An employment with us may involve placement in a security classification. A security clearance with background check according to the Security Protection Act (2018:585) may therefore be conducted. For some of our work tasks in security classification, Swedish citizenship is required.
