Norrköping Airport (NRK) offers multiple destinations and has been owned by Norrköping Municipality since 2006. The airport is also home to around 15 different aviation-related businesses. Together, we employ approximately 150 people in connection with the airport. For us, safety is always the highest priority, above commercial, operational, environmental, or social requirements. Your responsibilities As security manager and security protection officer, you are responsible for ensuring that operations comply with applicable laws and regulations, and you lead and coordinate security work. You report directly to the operations manager/airport director but also work closely with the CEO of Norrköping Airport. Together, you contribute to developing security work at both strategic and operational levels. You are part of the airport director's management team. The role requires the ability to drive and develop internal and external security work related to physical security, personnel safety, and information security. The tasks are both operational and strategic in nature and therefore require the ability to communicate with different target groups. You ensure that security work is conducted in accordance with the company's permits and certificates, which also includes participating in regulatory inspections and performing internal audits. Your responsibilities also include conducting risk analyses and assessments, proposing and implementing preventive measures, and responsibility for handling security incidents and reporting in accordance with applicable regulations and internal operational requirements. You will also be involved in the airport's emergency preparedness work. You are expected to have an active role in both internal and external networks. Who are you? We are looking for someone with experience in security work, preferably within critical infrastructure, in an airport environment, or in other vital public operations. You have previously worked broadly with security, regulatory compliance, and quality improvement, and have experience leading and driving change initiatives. A genuine interest in technology and understanding of security systems will help you be a good client for security services. You have an academic degree or other education that the employer considers relevant, combined with professional experience in the security and security protection field. We consider it a merit if you have previously worked with security protection and preferably within airport operations. It is also a merit if you have experience, interest, and knowledge in IT and cybersecurity as well as digitalization. As a person, you are communicative, collaboration-oriented, and responsive – qualities that enable you to build trust, create engagement, and drive development forward. You have a natural ability to engage and bring others along, while being confident in making your own decisions and challenging current practices in a humble way. To succeed in the role, it is important to have a good ability to see the big picture without losing focus on details. You create participation and motivation, and you serve as a role model for both security and culture within the organization. You express yourself well in Swedish and English, both verbally and in writing, and have good skills with digital tools. If you become a candidate for the position, you will undergo a security vetting in accordance with the Security Protection Act before employment. The position requires Swedish citizenship.
