Security Manager – for you in IT and Information Security

About the Role As a Security Manager, you'll have overall responsibility for the company's security efforts. You'll work closely with management, operations, and group functions to strengthen our capabilities in IT security, information security, risk management, crisis preparedness, and business protection. You'll be the natural point of coordination for security matters and work on both strategic and operational issues. The role is varied and requires you to quickly shift perspectives. This means one day discussing risks and security priorities with leadership, and the next day supporting colleagues in operations with concrete security challenges or developing processes and governance documents. Your Tasks You will, among other things: Drive and develop the company's security efforts. Ensure compliance with laws, regulations, and internal requirements. Conduct risk analyses and security assessments. Develop and maintain governance documents and security processes. Manage the information security management system. Support operations on security-related matters. Participate in Mälarenergi Group's joint security efforts. Be a key part of the company's crisis preparedness and continuity work. We Believe You Have several years of experience in one or more of the following areas: IT security Information security Security protection Business protection Risk management Continuity or preparedness work Previous experience with comprehensive security responsibility is not a requirement; what's most important is that you have a solid, multi-year foundation in security and the ambition to develop further. You are curious, analytical, and understand technology, operations, and people. You build trust easily and can explain complex matters in ways that make sense to different audiences.
