Saldus novada p/a "Saldus Tourism Information, Culture and Sports Center" (reg. no. 90002396732) invites a creative team member to join as a FACILITIES MANAGER on an indefinite basis. Requirements for candidates: • Category B driver's license; • secondary or vocational education preferred; • previous experience as a facilities manager or property caretaker and in maintenance work preferred; • excellent organizational skills and ability to manage time rationally and make decisions; • communication skills and self-initiative; • good knowledge of Latvian; • good computer skills, MS Office proficiency, and familiarity with office equipment; • willingness to work weekends, holidays, and late evenings. Main job responsibilities: • Maintain and monitor the operating pellet heating boiler and its auxiliary equipment; • perform tasks related to the Agency's events in Kapelleru House (facility and outdoor preparation, transportation of materials and people); • ensure centralized heat supply in Kapelleru House facilities; • maintain the Agency's movable and immovable property in technical condition; • collect information on facilities maintenance and minor repair needs, perform minor repairs or organize their completion in and around the Agency's immovable property; • handle daily ordering and procurement of supplies and building materials needed by the Agency.
