A central part of this is our investment in our HR Shared Service Center in Gothenburg, which plays an important role in simplifying and ensuring the quality of our payroll and personnel administration.
With us, you'll become part of a well-functioning payroll unit and have the opportunity to influence and shape the future of payroll management at one of Sweden's largest employers. You work both closely with the business and together with systems and process managers to ensure quality, compliance, and continuous improvement in payroll management.
What You Will DoAs an RPA-focused payroll specialist, you'll be part of one of two teams that together are responsible for ensuring correct, efficient, and high-quality payroll management for all our employees. Together with the team, you ensure correct salary payments on time, work with systems issues, and contribute to developing working methods and processes. You identify areas for improvement and drive business-oriented development of systems, processes, controls, and automation, as well as serve as an expert and support for qualified systems issues. Examples of tasks:
Contribute to requirements specification, testing, problem-solving, and configuration of system solutions.
Quality and development responsibility for certain systems issues, as well as ensuring regulatory compliance.
Ensure that system updates are implemented without impact on adjacent systems and that data, permissions, and reports maintain high quality.
Support management; handle qualified systems-related support queries and contribute to a quality-assured process.
Conduct testing of new versions and changes in HR+ and ensure consequences and impact for the business.
In addition to your systems-related tasks, you will also work with:
Payroll runs and quality assurance; ensure correct payments and associated controls.
Payroll controlling; work with financial interfaces.
Reporting; take responsibility for AGI to the Swedish Tax Agency and assist the department's work regarding SCB statistics and other regulatory requirements.
What You Bring
Relevant academic or professional education in payroll or equivalent experience.
Systems expertise where experience with Visma HR-plus is highly valued.
A strong interest in digitalization, automation, RPA, and AI.
Experience developing new working methods and preferably a background as a systems specialist/systems manager within payroll systems.
Deep knowledge and solid experience of all aspects of payroll work including collective agreements and legal reporting.
Knowledge of GDPR, tax and benefits rules, and employment law regulations.
Understanding of the bigger picture; you are accustomed to navigating between payroll, HR, and finance, with good oversight of tax and benefits rules.
Communicative and pedagogical; you have experience with and interest in training others and enjoy sharing your knowledge.
Very good skills in Swedish and English, both spoken and written
