G Tech Vulk AB is seeking a corrosion protection technician or industrial painter for our workshop in Gällivare. We offer a full-time workshop-based position starting as soon as possible. Important to know about the employment: You will be employed by Folcon AB and work as a consultant at G Tech Vulk AB. The long-term plan is for you to become directly employed by the client company G Tech Vulk AB. About the position You will work in our modern workshop together with a skilled team. The role is tailored to your background – if you have primarily painting or coating experience, we will focus more on industrial painting, while some blasting will still be included. Work hours: Weekdays 07:00–15:30 Location: Workshop in Gällivare Employment type: 6-month fixed-term employment with Folcon AB with a plan for permanent employment with Folcon and subsequent transition to G Tech Vulk AB Your responsibilities Industrial painting and corrosion protection coating Blasting and mechanical surface preparation Masking, cleaning, and preparation for surface treatment Application of paint and protective systems according to instructions Quality control of surface finish and coating thickness Maintenance of equipment and workplace safety and organization We are looking for someone who Has experience in industrial painting, coating, corrosion protection, blasting, or similar skilled trades Is meticulous about prep work, finishing, and quality Holds a B-class driver's license (required) Speaks fluent Swedish or English Enjoys physical work in a workshop environment Meritorious: Hardened plastic inspection, Hot Work certification, fall protection, overhead crane certification, forklift license, and SSG certifications We offer Daytime work – no night shifts or regular travel Collective agreement terms according to the Technology Agreement Wellness allowance of 2,500 kr per half-year during employment with Folcon Work clothes and safety equipment Accommodation can be arranged Clear path to long-term employment with G Tech Vulk Employment and the path forward You start with a six-month fixed-term employment with Folcon AB. After that, the plan is to extend the employment to a permanent position with Folcon and then transition to an employment with G Tech Vulk AB without a new probationary period.
