WORK TASKS As a pipe fitter with us, you will work with: • Installation and replacement of water and sewage lines • Repairs and maintenance of pipe networks • Excavation work, pipe laying, and site restoration • Working together with machine operators, construction workers, and colleagues in the field The work takes place outdoors year-round in varying environments and conditions. On-call duty is part of the position once the employer determines you have sufficient experience with the work tasks. This is work that is sometimes heavy, dirty, wet, and cold and that demands both responsibility and work ethic. At the same time, it is a job with strong team spirit and a clear community mission: ensuring daily life works for Vimmerby residents. QUALIFICATIONS Relevant technical vocational training and/or professional experience from the water and sewage industry is advantageous. You don't need to know everything from the start—what matters most is that you want to learn, take responsibility, and develop as you take on new tasks. You will have experienced colleagues around you and good opportunities for learning in your daily work. A B driver's license is required for the position. You also need to be comfortable with physical work and working outdoors regardless of weather. We are looking for someone with high work ethic and who is a considerate and reliable colleague.
