Kristinehamn has clean water because of us! We at the water and waste department in Kristinehamn provide water daily to approximately 5,500 households. The position is placed in the pipe network section, which together with the water and waste department currently consists of 11 employees and is part of the Technical Administration. The Technical Administration consists of approximately 150 employees and includes the water and waste department, the public environment department, and the service department. We are responsible, among other things, for ensuring that the municipality's traffic environment is safe and accessible, and that our children, youth, and elderly receive nutritious food in the municipality's preschools, schools, and special housing facilities. We also manage the municipality's properties and are responsible for strategic facility planning. We also handle the collection of household waste and operate the municipality's waste facility. 1 position(s). WORK DUTIES As a plumber at Kristinehamn Municipality, you will have interesting and varied work with regular working hours. We work with installation, operation, maintenance, and repair of piping systems for water, sewage, and heating in the municipality's properties and facilities. Your duties include both planned work and urgent tasks, where you contribute to ensuring a safe and functioning technical infrastructure for the municipality's operations and residents. We also carry out renovation projects on our own for our distribution network. You perform troubleshooting, service, and urgent tasks, and assist with new installations and renovations. The work is carried out in close collaboration with colleagues and other professionals, with a focus on quality, safety, and good service. A major advantage of working for the municipality is that you avoid long business trips and working hours are mostly during daytime, although on-call duty may be part of the position.
