Responsibilities As a radiologic technologist at our clinic in Sala, you will work with conventional radiography and perform diagnostic imaging examinations of patients. You play an important role in the care chain and help create conditions for safe and secure care for our patients. Together we contribute with high medical expertise and perform quality and comprehensive work for our patients. Advanced technical equipment and computers are important work tools in our digital environment. It is varied work and the trend is moving toward increasingly specialized technical development. We have an introduction program for newly hired radiologic technologists to create a sense of security and well-being. About the Workplace The Radiology Clinic is a regional clinic with operations at all 4 hospitals in the region. The clinic employs approximately 180 professional staff members dedicated to the most important thing we know: ensuring our patients receive the best possible conditions and care that always starts from their needs. Västerås is the radiology clinic's largest unit with all modalities, extensive interventional services, and an emergency radiology section with high volume and close collaboration with the emergency department. The Radiology Clinic in Sala is a smaller unit where we work with conventional radiography. We perform scheduled and acute examinations during daytime on weekdays. It is an advantage if you have good medical and medical-technical knowledge. As a person, you are confident, stable, and have good self-awareness. For us, a good work environment and job satisfaction are important, and therefore we see that you enjoy working in a team and have an easy time collaborating with others. To succeed in this role, you need the ability to work independently and can adapt to changing circumstances. You have a good approach to patients and colleagues and can communicate clearly. Our work is governed by documents that are often in Swedish, and therefore you need to have good knowledge of the Swedish language, both spoken and written. We place great importance on personal suitability. Terms of Employment Permanent employment within the Radiology Clinic with placement in Sala. Full-time, with the possibility of part-time work. Daytime hours Monday-Friday and we offer reduced weekly working hours for healthy and sustainable work. Probationary employment may be applied. Start date by agreement.
