The Image and Function Business Unit (VO) at Skåne University Hospital comprises six units: Acute Radiology, Pediatric and Skeletal Radiology, Gastrointestinal, Urological and Thorax Radiology, Neuroradiology including Dental Radiology, Clinical Physiology and Nuclear Medicine, and Clinical Neurophysiology. We are located in Lund, Malmö, and Trelleborg. The Image and Function Business Unit operates a complete facility in this field, with all modalities represented including computed tomography, MRI, interventional radiology, ultrasound, conventional equipment, and nuclear medicine services. We conduct high-quality and diverse research and development in collaboration with various partners. Our operations include both emergency and elective examinations. At the Neuroradiology and Dental Radiology unit in Lund, approximately 30 employees work together. Our workplace is characterized by expertise, drive, and team spirit. JOB DUTIES Our interventional radiology operations are expanding and we are performing increasingly advanced treatments and examinations. Therefore, we are seeking a colleague who wants to work with neuroradiology interventions at our facility in Lund! We use various radiological techniques including computed tomography (CT), fluoroscopy, conventional radiography, and magnetic resonance imaging (MRI). The position focuses on neurointervention, which means you will primarily work in one of our state-of-the-art angiography labs. The Neuroradiology and Dental Radiology unit also includes CT, MRI, and dental radiology. When you are not assigned to the angiography lab, your primary placement will be in CT, but MRI and dental radiology may also become relevant. We work in teams with physicians, nursing assistants, administrative staff, and anesthesia personnel. Since quality and development are important aspects of our work, we invest heavily in internal training and specialized education. We maintain strong patient focus and support each other in fulfilling our role as radiologic technologists. Since we receive patients around the clock, evenings, weekends, and on-call work are included in the position. QUALIFICATIONS We welcome you as a licensed radiologic technologist with authorization to work in Swedish healthcare. Swedish language proficiency at least equivalent to level C1 according to the Council of Europe scale is required. Previous experience in interventional radiology and/or CT is advantageous. As a person, you thrive with varied work and can handle situations with both high and low intensity in a structured manner. You are driven, interested in acquiring new knowledge that you enjoy sharing with others, and have excellent communication and collaboration skills.
