Are you a radiologic technologist with further education in radiation therapy and want to combine professional development with new experiences?
On behalf of a modern clinic in Iceland, we are now seeking radiation therapists for a six-month assignment. This is an exciting opportunity for you who want to work with advanced cancer treatment in an international environment on Iceland, while experiencing the country's unique nature and rich culture.
You will become part of an experienced and multidisciplinary team with high expertise and close collaboration between different professions. The role suits you who want to develop professionally, have varied work days, and work close to patients throughout the entire treatment process.
About the Position
As a radiation therapist, you will have an important role in planning and implementing treatment for cancer patients. The work involves using modern technology and advanced equipment while contributing to safe and quality care.
Job duties include:
Planning and implementing radiation therapy
Working with modern linear accelerators and other advanced equipment
Ensuring precise treatment with focus on patient safety and quality
Follow-up and support for patients during the treatment period
Close collaboration with oncologists, hospital physicists, and other healthcare staff
Contributing to a good work environment and continued quality improvement
We are looking for you who
Are a licensed radiologic technologist
Have further education in radiation therapy
Have an interest in oncology and modern cancer treatment
Enjoy patient contact and multidisciplinary collaboration
Are flexible, responsible, and confident in your professional role
Want to develop both professionally and personally through work abroad
