Orust Riding Club is seeking a dedicated, responsible, and knowledgeable equestrian professional for approximately 80% employment. Orust Riding Club is a non-profit association with approximately 15 horses and an established riding school operation. We provide riding instruction five days a week for riders of all levels. We place great emphasis on creating a safe, educational, and pleasant environment where both horses and people develop and thrive. Job Responsibilities The position includes: Riding instruction for children, youth, and adults Daily care of horses and stables Feeding and turnout/stall management of horses Maintenance of facilities and general order in the stable environment Participation in club activities and events Some administrative tasks related to the riding school operation Coordination of daily stable work Contributing to good communication, well-being, and team cohesion in the operation Introducing and supporting interns and new staff members We Are Looking for Someone Who Has experience with horses and stable work Is confident in the role of riding instructor and has strong teaching abilities Is responsible, flexible, and has good collaboration skills Enjoys working both independently and as part of a team Is organized and has the ability to coordinate and bring people together Contributes to a positive and developmental environment for students, members, staff, and horses We place great emphasis on personal suitability. It is important to us that you have good interpersonal skills, strong communication abilities, and wish to contribute to the continued development of the operation.
