Audit Assistant at Nodum Revision

About the Role As an audit assistant at Nodum, you'll be part of the audit team and work alongside experienced auditors on assignments primarily for owner-led companies and small to medium-sized enterprises. You'll progressively build your understanding of the audit process and develop your ability to examine, analyze, and evaluate financial information. Through close collaboration with experienced colleagues, you'll have the opportunity to grow in the role while taking on increasing responsibility in assignments. Examples of work tasks: Participate in audits of small and medium-sized enterprises Review bookkeeping, financial statements, annual reports, and financial documentation Perform reconciliations, analyses, and reasonableness assessments Identify discrepancies and issues, and discuss these with the responsible auditor Document completed audit procedures and conclusions Assist with certain accounting and reporting-related tasks Progressively build client relationships around documentation, reconciliations, and follow-up At Nodum, we're committed to long-term competency development. Your Profile We're looking for someone with an academic degree in accounting, such as a bachelor's or master's degree in business administration, who wants to develop a career in auditing. This position is suitable for you if you're newly graduated or have some experience from an audit firm, accounting, or other finance-related role. You have a basic understanding of accounting and financial statements and are curious about how financial information can be examined, analyzed, and quality assured.
