Ref: 20261797 The care facilities in Malmö city are organized into five units. We are now seeking a nursing assistant for our resource team at the care facility Havsbris, which belongs to unit 5. As a nursing assistant in the resource group, you work according to a fixed schedule with day, evening, and weekend shifts. You work primarily in the evenings on weekdays and every other weekend you work either day or evening shifts. Job Responsibilities As a resource nursing assistant, you help and support residents with care services based on individual needs and wishes. You will assist residents with personal care, medical tasks performed under delegation from a licensed nurse, meal preparation, cleaning, shopping, and laundry. Beyond the practical work, you will also document events related to residents and maintain contact with their family members. Your work includes providing advice and information as well as motivating and encouraging residents so they can do as much as possible on their own. In your daily work, you also collaborate with home healthcare, rehabilitation, benefits administrators, and other home care teams. The work also includes medical care tasks performed under delegation from a nurse and documentation in the Life Care system. Qualifications Requirements for the position: Trained nursing assistant with passing grades Proof of protected professional title (nursing assistant) from the National Board of Health and Welfare or certificate from employer confirming you had a permanent position as a nursing assistant on 1/7 2023 Experience in care work Experience working with dementia and/or psychiatry Good digital skills Very good Swedish language skills, both spoken and written Meritorious qualifications: Previous experience with LifeCare, Procapita, Flexite, and Senior Alert and/or BPSD We are looking for someone who is responsible, solution-focused, and flexible.
