We are now recruiting nursing assistants to our resource group within home care, Unit Arenan. As a nursing assistant in the resource group, you will work according to a fixed schedule, either day shift (07.00–15.30) or evening shift (15.00–23.00). You will be part of Unit Arenan and work within one of our resource areas. This means you may work in different work groups within the resource area based on the needs of the operation. Job Responsibilities As a resource nursing assistant, you will help and support clients with care interventions based on individual needs and preferences. You will assist clients with personal care, medical interventions performed under delegation from a licensed nurse, meal preparation, cleaning, shopping, and laundry. Beyond the practical work, you will also document events regarding the client and maintain contact with the client's family members. Your work includes providing advice and information as well as motivating and encouraging clients to do as much as possible for themselves. In daily work, you will also collaborate with home healthcare, rehabilitation, benefits administrators, and other home care teams. Qualifications We are looking for someone who has Nursing assistant education with approved grades Proof of protected professional title (nursing assistant) from the National Board of Health and Welfare or a certificate from your employer confirming you had a permanent position as a nursing assistant on 1/7 2023 Able to cycle Good Swedish in speech and writing Experience using computers as a tool and resource, and the ability and willingness to quickly learn new programs and systems We consider it meritorious if you have Experience with dementia and/or psychiatry Knowledge of LifeCare and Senior Alert Driver's license We are looking for someone who feels confident handling changes and new situations.
