We are now seeking a Restaurant Manager for Skara Konsthotell who wants to lead and develop this fantastic hotel in Skara! What You Will Do as Restaurant Manager Our Restaurant Manager is the person who ensures we maintain a high level of service, that all reservations are taken care of, and that you and your team are well-informed and knowledgeable about our food and beverages. You lead and organize the daily work in the restaurant and ensure guests receive the best possible treatment. You stay on top of any changes, collaborate with other departments, and ensure we always have the right products in stock. You are responsible for beverage orders, create events in the restaurant, and develop and engage your colleagues. You work in close dialogue with the Reservations Manager/Reception and solve whatever comes your way. Your main responsibilities: Management of staff Responsibility for planning, scheduling, and development Active involvement in financial management, smart purchasing, and cost control Working together with the Executive Chef and your team to develop our restaurant concept, both in how we operate and in continuously improving the guest experience You are part of Skara Konsthotell's management team and actively contribute to the development of concepts, activities, and team cohesion. What We're Looking For: Your Background and Experience You come from a solid restaurant background and ideally have previous experience as a Maître d' or Restaurant Manager. Being knowledgeable in food and beverages and having a feel for the guests in front of you is essential. Being cheerful, stress-resilient, and someone who finds life enjoyable is a given. We especially welcome you if you are a sommelier and can conduct various beverage events. This role requires you to be confident in making independent decisions and be an engaged leader. As a Restaurant Manager, you will work together with your team to provide the best possible experience for our guests. Providing our restaurant and hotel guests with excellent service, memorable treatment, and a fine experience is something you're passionate about. You have good knowledge of Swedish, and we place great emphasis on personal suitability.
