Restaurant Chef Sought for Waipo Stockholm

Waipo is a modern Asian restaurant in central Stockholm with a focus on quality, taste, service, and overall experience. We're looking for someone who thrives in an environment with high pace, high ambitions, and a strong focus on both guests and staff. About the Role As restaurant chef, you have overall responsibility for the restaurant's daily operations. You work closely with both the team and management, ensuring the business maintains a high standard – every day. Your main areas of responsibility include: Staff management, leadership, and team development Scheduling and workforce planning Recruitment and onboarding of new staff Daily operational management and work supervision Ensuring high service and quality standards Monitoring sales, labor costs, and other key metrics Active work on the restaurant's profitability and results Procedures, work environment, and self-inspection Being present in operations and creating a fantastic experience for our guests Who Are We Looking For? We're looking for someone who is a natural and confident leader and who enjoys developing both people and operations. We would like to see that you: Have previous experience as a restaurant chef, assistant restaurant chef, or similar leadership role Have a good understanding of restaurant economics and key metrics Are experienced with staff management and scheduling Are organized, solution-oriented, and take responsibility Have high standards for service, quality, and order Can work independently and make decisions Thrive being operational and present with the team Communicate fluently in Swedish and English Experience from premium dining, à la carte, or restaurant operations with high service requirements is advantageous.
