We are now seeking a kitchen assistant who wants to work in a team where service spirit and teamwork are at the center. With curiosity and attention to detail, you will assist both the hot and cold kitchen with preparation, cooking, and serving. The position includes quality control, daily kitchen routines and dishwashing, as well as occasional work at the register. About Restaurant Malmen SSAB Luleå Restaurant Malmen is located adjacent to SSAB in Luleå and is a restaurant with exciting growth ahead of us. Currently, we serve approximately 250 guests daily and operate a production kitchen that delivers school meals to approximately 250 students. Our offering consists of a varied lunch buffet with at least two traditional Swedish dishes, a vegetarian alternative, and a generous salad bar. We work with a focus on quality, sustainability, and seasonal ingredients to provide our guests with a great dining experience every day. You will become part of an engaged team of 6 people, a team that values diversity, collaboration, and having fun at work. Working hours are scheduled for weekdays without weekends, though weekend work may occur for special events and assignments. Who are you? - You are over 18 years old - You enjoy planning and structuring your work to make it efficient - With your positivity, you take responsibility for maintaining high service levels throughout the day - Good service is important to you, where a smile and eye contact are a given - You see your value in satisfied guests, are positive, stress-tolerant, and have good collaboration and communication skills - You can take initiative and are flexible in your professional role - You speak and write Swedish - Previous restaurant kitchen experience is a plus - A valid driver's license (Category B) is required About Compass Group We are part of Compass Group, a global leader in food, beverage, and support services.
