We are looking for a Restaurant Assistant for our bistro, café, shop, and catering kitchen at Åre/Östersund Airport. Experience with cash register and service is preferred. The position is part-time at 25 hours/week with the possibility of extra hours during winter. This is a time-limited employment, primarily until the end of March. Your responsibilities will include basic kitchen work, sandwiches, salads, and assisting in the hot kitchen. You will also handle cash register work, dishwashing, cleaning, unpacking merchandise, and everything else needed to keep the restaurant running smoothly. You should love service, enjoy working both in the kitchen and on the floor, and be willing to go the extra mile. The pace can be fast at times. This role suits someone who wants variety in their work and thrives in a small team. We prefer candidates with experience from a restaurant, café, or equivalent training. Public transportation is available, but since it doesn't always align with work hours, it's helpful if you have a driver's license and access to a car. Start date October 1st or by agreement. Working hours are scheduled on weekdays afternoons/evenings and weekends according to the schedule. Shifts may vary in length. Generally no work shifts after 8:00 PM. The position may be filled before the application deadline. Salary according to collective agreement. The airport is a security-classified workplace, which requires approved security clearance including background check.
