Restaurant/Café Server

We are looking for a restaurant server with great enthusiasm and a passion for service who wants to help drive our restaurant and associated event spaces forward. Here, families, business lunches, wedding guests, and more come together to experience great food, beautiful settings, and warm hospitality. You will be responsible for maintaining excellent service in the bistro and in our event spaces during various events related to conferences, weddings, memorials, and more. Working hours are primarily Wednesday-Friday, and possibly weekends. 9:30 AM-5:00 PM during the day. Some evening hours may occur as needed. About Us: Långängens gård is located in the beautiful nature reserve Långängen on Lidingö. The buildings date back to the 1700s and once housed author Wilhelm Von Braun when the estate was owned by "Lidingö King" Janne Zetterberg. Långängens gård has also served as a poorhouse. Since the mid-1900s, the estate has been a popular café/bistro and in recent years has evolved into a restaurant/bistro where we cook everything from scratch, grow as much as we can, and operate our own smokehouse. All to achieve the right feeling. We are a small, tight-knit team of about 5 people who together manage daily operations. Qualifications and Traits: A sense of service and guest experience. You have an interest in food & beverage. Strong communication and leadership skills. Good computer skills. We would like to see previous experience in a similar role. Swedish and English, spoken and written. A B-class driver's license is a strong asset. Main Responsibilities: Financial awareness. Operate the Ancon POS system. Work actively together to develop service, quality, and procedures. Communication with the kitchen and other parties within the operation. Serving food & beverages to our guests. Work in a sustainable and cost-effective manner. Terms Permanent part-time position with a trial period. Salary by agreement.
