About the Department/Team Within the Finance Department, around 75 people work organized into five teams and a staff unit. In this role, you will be team leader for the Payment Flows and Systems Support team, which works with the university's payment flows within accounts receivable and payable as well as banking and payment solutions. Within the team, 21 employees work in roles as process leaders, systems administrators, accounting specialists, and accounts receivable administrators. The Finance Department is located in bright facilities on the Valhallavägen campus. Job Responsibilities As a team leader within the Finance Department, your responsibilities will include: Leading and distributing work within the team Working toward high quality in the team's deliverables Personnel responsibility, including employee and salary discussions, vacation decisions, and workplace environment matters Responsibility for the team's budget and monitoring of the department's operations Participating in the Finance Department's management team and other management forums Participating in internal and external networks for collaboration and experience sharing Participating in development work Leading change within your own team and department Giving presentations and, when needed, assisting in planning and delivering internal training Qualifications Requirements Bachelor's degree in finance or equivalent work experience that the authority considers equivalent At least 5 years of current work experience in the tasks the team performs—payment flows within accounts receivable and payable as well as banking and payment solutions, or alternatively work in the accounting field Good computer skills (Office suite) and experience managing systems Strong knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written, as this is required in daily work Personal Qualities We are looking for someone with personal maturity and self-confidence who can act stably even in complex situations.
