The Migration Agency's Security Department is part of the headquarters and has overall responsibility for security and preparedness at the agency. At the Security Department, specialists work with information security, physical security, personnel security, crisis preparedness and civil defence, internal investigations, employee protection and other security matters across the entire spectrum from operational security to security protection.
The Migration Agency's mission includes developing and managing international cooperation on migration. The agency coordinates and conducts migration activities at Sweden's foreign missions, conducts development cooperation in selected countries, collaborates with international organizations and stations personnel abroad, among other things on behalf of various EU agencies. This means that personnel frequently travel internationally, often to countries with particular security challenges. Developments in the surrounding world and unforeseen international events affect the agency significantly. The Migration Agency is therefore seeking a travel security expert with experience in strategic and operational security work.
The position is organizationally located in the Preparedness Unit at the Security Department. Location is in Stockholm or Malmö. At the unit, specialists work within employee protection and travel security as well as preparedness and civil defence. Main Duties
In the role of travel security expert, you are responsible, together with colleagues, for defining, quality-assuring and communicating both strategic and operational travel security matters at the agency. The role includes supporting operations with qualified risk analyses and risk-reducing measures, often against the background of complex threat assessments. The work also includes coordinating travel security training. You will collaborate with other agencies and international actors. Furthermore, the role includes conducting environmental monitoring in the field. The position also involves coordinating travel security matters with other security matters at the agency. You are expected to work closely with and be able to support colleagues who are responsible for overall employee protection work.

Requirements
Academic education, preferably in the security field, or other education that the employer deems relevant for the role
Experience working with travel security
Experience working with threat and risk analyses within travel security
Very good knowledge of Swedish and English in speech and writing
Category B driving license.

A security vetting with registry check in accordance with the Security Protection Act (2018:585) will be conducted. On this basis, there is a requirement for Swedish citizenship. Employment is conditional on a passed security vetting.
