Gothenburg Tram Company is looking for someone with a driver's license without probation, cleaning experience, and who values good collaboration. You will become an important part of one of our depot teams – a team consisting of mechanics, electricians, and passenger environment technicians – where you are part of the group responsible for keeping our trams clean and in good condition. As a passenger environment technician, you are a key person in creating a pleasant and safe environment for both drivers and passengers. On the night shift, we focus on putting away and positioning vehicles for the next day's traffic – and making sure they are ready to roll, intact, and clean. Main Responsibilities: • Deep cleaning • Cleaning • Graffiti removal The work may also include: • Shunting trams • Checking sand systems • Repair of minor faults on trams This is an hourly position with varying hours. We have special need during holidays, sick leave, and extra efforts. Working hours are primarily scheduled for nights. We are seeking staff for the Rantorget Depot. About You Requirements Category B driver's license, driving experience, and completed probation period Good Swedish speaking and writing Good ability to read, understand, and express yourself in spoken and written technical Swedish, as this is a prerequisite for completing the training and being able to understand traffic and vehicle instructions Meet health requirements according to TSFS 2019:113 and passed drug test Meritorious Good computer skills; basic computer knowledge is important for this position. Graduate level education or equivalent Practical aptitude, ability to perform simple repairs and maintenance If you are also technically interested and can perform simple repairs, that is a great advantage Experience with night/shift work Experience with deep cleaning We are looking for someone with a strong understanding of service and delivery and who is comfortable working with deep cleaning during inconvenient working hours. You are responsible and take your tasks seriously, complete what you start, and ensure that the work is done correctly. Since our primary focus is safety, you are also thorough and ensure high quality. You will work closely with your team colleagues, which requires strong collaboration skills. If you are also loyal and flexible with a positive attitude and technically interested, that is a great advantage. For this position, you must have excellent physical condition and a fitness certificate for night work according to AFS 2019:03 as well as a passed drug test. If you are considered for shunting trams and checking sand systems, a health clearance for safety work according to TSFS 2019:113 and a fitness certificate for quartzite dust exposure according to AFS 2019:03 are required. These examinations are conducted by our occupational health services. Great weight will be placed on personal competencies. The salary for this position is 165 kr/h + unsociable hours allowance.
