Description:

Do you enjoy getting advanced technology to work – and helping people succeed with it? At our company, you'll work with some of the market's most advanced large format production equipment: printers, cutting machines, and finishing equipment from Epson, Roland, Mimaki, Summa, and Canon among others – as well as the software that ties it all together, from RIP and color management to automated production workflows. One day you're installing a new printer at a print shop in Gothenburg. The next day you're troubleshooting a color workflow remotely from the office or training operators on-site at a customer. The variety is significant – and you'll quickly become someone our customers trust. What you'll do with us • Installation and commissioning. Assembly of new machines and integration with the customer's existing systems and network. • Training. You'll teach operators how to use, maintain, and get more out of their equipment – including safety reviews. • Service and troubleshooting. Analysis and on-site problem solving at the customer, from mechanics and electronics to software. • Support. Via phone, remote access, and email from our office in Vällingby. • Systems consulting. If you have the right skills, you can focus your services more toward software, workflows, and integration – an area we're growing in. Our customers often work against tight deadlines. This means planning sometimes changes with short notice – and your contribution makes a real difference for their production. As a service technician, you're the company's face to the outside world. Who you are You're a technical problem solver who's equally comfortable with a screwdriver in hand as with an operating system. You enjoy meeting people, are pedagogical, and communicate clearly in both speech and writing. Since this is a traveling position, you need to appreciate working at customer sites across the country, with overnight stays when assignments require it. Requirements: • Class B driver's license • Technical expertise in both hardware and software • Good Swedish and English in speech and writing Desirable qualifications: • Experience with service work or production within the print industry • Knowledge of RIP software (e.g., Caldera or Onyx) and color management • Technical or graphic education • Knowledge of networking, scripting, or programming You don't need to know everything from day one – you'll receive thorough training and work alongside experienced colleagues until you're confident in the role. What we offer • Company car • Private healthcare insurance, fitness allowance, and pension contributions • Certification training from our suppliers – you'll stay constantly updated on new technology • A small, skilled team with short decision-making paths and great freedom with responsibility • Good opportunities to influence both your own role and how we develop the business – your own initiatives and projects are encouraged About Color Systems Scandinavia Color Systems Scandinavia AB is a market leader in large format production equipment. We are a certified reseller and service partner for Epson, Roland, Mimaki, Summa, and Canon among others, and help customers across the country with machines, software, and complete production solutions.
