Traveling Service Technician | Revatec | Stockholm

Are you technically skilled, handy, and comfortable working independently while solving technical problems at customer sites? Revatec is now hiring a traveling service technician who wants to join the company's team and work with service and maintenance of advanced washing systems. About the Position As a traveling service technician at Revatec, you'll have a varied and independent role working at the company's facilities, primarily in and around the Stockholm area. Revatec designs and delivers advanced washing systems for heavy vehicles, buses, trains, and other large vehicles. The systems contain sophisticated technology, electrical components, and automation, which means you'll work with many different types of technical solutions. You'll work from your home base and the position involves traveling between different customers and facilities in the Stockholm area and surrounding region. It's therefore important that you enjoy being out in the field and appreciate work where your workplace varies day to day. Work is scheduled during office hours, and travel to and from customer sites is included in your working time. In rare cases of longer trips, overnight stays may occur. You'll have great freedom under responsibility and will largely plan your own work days and service visits. Revatec provides a vehicle, phone, and computer. Responsibilities As a service technician, you'll primarily work with service, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs of Revatec's technical systems. Your responsibilities may include: - Performing service and preventive maintenance on existing washing systems - Troubleshooting mechanical and electrical components - Identifying and resolving technical problems at customer sites - Working with electrical systems, controls, and automation - Repairing and replacing technical components - Performing adjustments and function checks - Assisting with installation and commissioning when needed - Documenting completed work - Communicating with customers and providing on-site technical service - Planning and structuring your own service visits - Traveling between customers and facilities in the Stockholm area This position suits you if you enjoy the combination of technology, problem-solving, and hands-on work, and if you appreciate that no two days need to be the same. About You We're looking for someone who is technically skilled, handy, and self-motivated. You need to be able to take responsibility for your work and feel comfortable independently troubleshooting and solving technical problems at customer sites. You don't need to have worked with vehicle washers specifically. The most important thing is that you have a genuine technical interest, are solution-oriented, and enjoy understanding how machines and technical systems work. As a person, you are: - Handy and practically minded - Technically interested and problem-solving oriented - Self-motivated and responsible - Thorough and well-organized - Service-oriented and professional when dealing with customers - Flexible and comfortable with varied work - Comfortable working independently out in the field Since you'll largely plan and carry out your work yourself, we require that you be driven, responsible, and able to make independent decisions in your daily work. Requirements for the Position - Basic electrical safety certification - Driver's license (Category B) - Technical understanding and practical skills - Good Swedish language skills, both spoken and written - Ability to work independently - Availability and willingness to work at customer sites in the Stockholm area - Previous experience in service, troubleshooting, electrical work, automation, mechanics, industry, vehicles, or similar technical work is a plus.
