Read more on their website here. 💼 Responsibilities As a traveling service technician, you'll be part of a team of 40 traveling service technicians with support from in-house technicians and a group manager. In this role, you work in the field and represent the company to customers, where you're responsible for preventive maintenance, repairs, and installations of TRUMPF's laser technology at customer sites. Your repair and service assignments are usually shorter projects lasting a few days, and for installations, you participate in projects lasting 2-7 weeks. You work with mechanics, electronics, software installation, and system integration. You work from home and stay overnight Monday to Friday weekly in the field within your work area, which covers Sweden and Norway. Since this is a traveling position, you'll be offered a company car, alternatively a company lease car, as well as meal allowances and travel reimbursement. Your introduction begins with thorough training, partly with a colleague in the field, as well as the company's introduction training in Germany, Austria, or Switzerland with technician colleagues from around the world. TRUMPF offers you long-term and ongoing technical competency development, and through expanded assignments and training, you'll gradually take on increasingly complex projects independently. 🔍 Education, Experience, and Personal Qualities Technical education, either from upper secondary school or vocational training Experience with technical work in repair, service, or maintenance of industrial machinery. Preferably from manufacturing industries such as food production, automotive, or similar Knowledge of mechanics, automation, and the ability to read electrical schematics Fluent Swedish and English, both spoken and written Driver's license (Category B) You are someone who takes responsibility for your tasks, their execution, and ensures everything is completed on time. You see the value of planning and driving your work forward and ask for help when needed. Because you understand the importance of structure and order in your work, you are methodical, systematic, and plan tasks before starting. In the service technician role, you speak with many customers daily and are comfortable taking the first step in a conversation. You have good communication skills, are comfortable with other people, and feel relaxed in social situations.
