Learn more on their website. 💼 Responsibilities As a traveling service technician, you'll be part of a team of 40 traveling service technicians with support from in-house technicians and a group manager. In this role, you'll work in the field and be the face of the company to customers, responsible for preventive maintenance, repairs, and installations of TRUMPF laser technology at customer sites. Your repair and service assignments are typically short engagements lasting a few days, and for installations, you'll participate in projects lasting 2-7 weeks. You'll work with mechanics, electronics, software installation, and system integration. You'll work from home and travel Monday through Friday weekly in your work area covering Sweden and Norway. Since this is a traveling position, you'll be provided with a company car or alternatively a benefit car, as well as meal allowances and travel reimbursement. Your introduction begins with thorough training, partly with a colleague in the field and through the company's introduction programs in Germany, Austria, or Switzerland alongside technician colleagues from around the world. TRUMPF offers you long-term and ongoing technical competency development, and through expanded tasks and training, you'll progressively take on more complex assignments independently. 🔍 Education, Experience, and Personal Qualities Technical education from upper secondary school or vocational school Experience with technical work in repair, service, or maintenance of industrial machinery. Preferably from manufacturing industries such as food production, automotive, or similar Knowledge of mechanics, automation, and ability to interpret electrical schematics Fluent Swedish and English, both spoken and written B-class driver's license You take responsibility for your work tasks and their completion, ensuring everything is finished on time. You see the value of planning and driving your work forward, and you ask for help when needed. Understanding the importance of structure and order in your work, you are methodical, systematic, and plan tasks before starting. In your role as a service technician, you speak with many customers daily and enjoy taking the first step in conversations. You have good communication skills, are comfortable with people, and feel relaxed in social situations.
