💼 Responsibilities
As a traveling technician, you'll work with installation, service, troubleshooting, and repair of Guldmann's ceiling lift systems and other products. You'll work from home and be responsible for assignments with customers primarily in Västmanland, Örebro, and Uppsala, though work in other locations may occur as needed.
You'll work in various environments such as care homes, hospitals, private homes, and construction sites. You'll work both independently and with colleagues, supported by technical specialists. The role involves travel during weekdays and overnight stays may occur.
The position involves approximately 2-3 overnight stays per week, sometimes several weeks in a row followed by a period of work from your home base. You'll work from home with a service vehicle.
Examples of responsibilities:
Installation and setup of ceiling lift systems and technical aids
Service, troubleshooting, and repairs at customer locations
Documentation and reporting in digital systems
Ongoing communication with customers and colleagues
Ensure work is performed according to applicable requirements and instructions
Approximately 2-3 overnight stays per week, sometimes several weeks in a row followed by periods working from your home base
Work from home with access to a service vehicle
🔍 Education, Experience, and Personal Qualities
Secondary education in technical, construction, or equivalent work experience
Ability to read drawings and assembly instructions
Craftsperson background or good technical aptitude
Basic knowledge of Office and digital reporting
Valid driver's license (Category B)
Fluent Swedish skills in both speech and writing
You are someone who takes responsibility for your tasks, their execution, and ensures everything is completed on time. You recognize the value of planning and driving your work forward and ask for help when needed. Because you understand the importance of structure and organization in your work, you are methodical, systematic, and plan tasks before starting. As a traveling service technician, you speak with many customers daily and you're comfortable taking the initiative to start conversations. You have good communication skills, are comfortable with other people, and feel at ease in social situations.
