Traveling Technician | Revatec | Kalmar/Småland

Are you handy, technically skilled, and comfortable with independent work where you get to travel around Sweden? Revatec is now looking for a traveling technician who wants to become part of the company's team. About the Position As a traveling technician at Revatec, you'll have a varied and independent role working at the company's facilities throughout Sweden. Revatec designs and delivers advanced wash systems for heavy vehicles, buses, and other large vehicles. The systems contain a lot of technology, electrical work, and automation, which means you'll work with many different types of technical solutions. You'll be based from your home, preferably located in Kalmar or Småland and surrounding areas, but the position involves travel throughout Sweden. It's therefore important that you're comfortable working in the field and appreciate a job where the workplace varies. Work is conducted during office hours, and travel to and from customers or facilities is included in working time. For longer trips, you'll stay at hotels. You'll have great freedom with responsibility and work independently with customers. Revatec provides a vehicle, phone, and computer. Job Responsibilities As a traveling technician, you'll primarily work with assembly and installation of Revatec's technical wash systems. Job responsibilities may include: Assemble and install equipment in wash systems Work with mechanical and electrical components Participate in installation and commissioning of new systems Work with electrical systems, controls, and automation Perform basic troubleshooting and corrections during installation Adapt and adjust equipment on site Document completed work Plan and structure your own work days and travel Travel to customers and facilities throughout Sweden This position suits you if you enjoy the combination of hands-on work, technology, and problem-solving, and if you appreciate that no two days need to be the same. About You We're looking for someone who is handy, technically skilled, and self-driven. You need to be able to take personal responsibility for your tasks and feel comfortable working independently with customers. You don't need to have worked with vehicle wash systems before. What matters most is that you have technical interest, are solution-oriented, and enjoy understanding how different machines and technical systems work. As a person, you are: Handy and practically inclined Technically interested and problem-solving oriented Self-driven and responsible Thorough and organized Flexible and comfortable with travel for work Service-oriented and professional in customer interactions Since the work involves significant independent responsibility and travel, it's important that you're driven, flexible, and comfortable working independently. Requirements for the Position Basic electrical certification Class B driver's license Technical understanding and practical ability Good Swedish (spoken and written) Ability to work independently Willingness to travel throughout Sweden Previous experience in assembly, installation, electrical work, automation, industrial work, vehicles, or similar technical work is a merit.
