We are looking for a self-driven, meticulous, and solution-oriented Traveling Mechanic for immediate employment. You will be based at our workshop in Hässleholm. Transformator Service AB is an established company with many years of experience helping electrical and power companies as well as transformer manufacturers with transformer service. We assemble new and repair and renovate existing power, distribution, and measurement transformers on the Scandinavian market. Qualifications/Requirements · High school diploma/certificate from a three-year or two-year secondary school · At least 2 years of work experience · Residence within commutable distance (approximately 50 km) to Hässleholm · Driver's license category B · Swedish and English, spoken and written · Good physical condition · Ability to read and follow drawings and electrical schematics Merits · Technical education or work experience · General electrical knowledge such as measuring voltage and current, troubleshooting electrical installations · Experience working in switchgear as a coupling assistant or similar · BE driver's license (heavy trailer) · Forklift certificate A, B (counterbalance forklift) Job Duties We offer you interesting and varied work in a smoke-free workplace with the opportunity to influence the development of our company, which is in constant growth. The work alternates between traveling and working in the workshop in Hässleholm. You will be our ambassador with customers, and it is naturally important that you respect our customers' wishes. Traveling work involves: · Assembly of new transformers · Repair of larger transformers · Maintenance of transformers In the field, you will do everything from painting to troubleshooting and new installation. This may include component replacement, troubleshooting on and in the transformer, and monitoring systems. It is physical work that requires good physical condition and is performed mainly in groups of at least two. Work is daytime, full-time, Monday to Friday; some weekend work may occur, and you may need to stay overnight on-site and be away from home during the week. Longer workdays occur as well as occasional night shifts. Workshop work involves: · Repair of smaller transformers – gasket replacement, component replacement, and repair of parts, etc. · Versatile mechanical and electrical work We offer specialized training both internally and externally where you have the opportunity for continuous professional development. Some training is conducted with manufacturers in Europe while other training is conducted on-site in projects with a supervisor from the manufacturer. To succeed with this, it is important that you: · Have a burning passion for technology in general and a willingness to learn new technology · Have a strong desire to achieve good results and contribute your best to accomplish the organization's goals · Work well with others but also be able to work independently · Are very meticulous with an eye for detail · Maintain order and organization around you · Do not become stressed if your schedule changes due to urgent matters; instead, can easily adapt and use your time appropriately Computer Skills · Experience working with the Microsoft Office suite · Use of smartphones and tablets Scope & Duration: Full-time & permanent Salary Type: Fixed monthly salary Application This is a permanent position, and we apply a 6-month probationary period.
