As a repair technician, you will primarily work independently or in a team to handle routine corrective maintenance, repairs following fault reports, and maintenance projects. In addition to fault reports, residents and customers request various smaller services and repair assignments in homes and facilities, which are also part of your duties. Ongoing contact with residents, customers, and contractors is therefore an essential part of your work tasks. You will also manage the purchasing of consumable materials and care for your own work equipment. The repair technician role is varied and independent work under your own responsibility. Your daily work includes, among other things: Routine corrective maintenance following fault reports Troubleshooting Repairs and maintenance within electrical, construction, plumbing, and minor ventilation work SBA work Managing daily customer contacts On-call availability is part of the position You will use a mobile phone or computer to receive and report your work. You will work both independently and together with your colleagues, and you are expected to independently solve the challenges you face in your work. You plan your own workday together with your colleagues and your group manager. Who are you? We are looking for someone who is curious, unpretentious, and helpful. You have upper secondary education and/or vocational training with a focus on property operations or management, or equivalent competence acquired in another way. We would appreciate it if you have experience with similar work. It is a plus if you have professional certification within plumbing or electrical work. Since the computer and mobile phone are a natural part of work for all employees at Riksbyggen, we appreciate it if you have some computer knowledge and can handle the computer at work. You will also be given the opportunity to develop your skills through internal training. The position requires a B-class driver's license. About the position This is a permanent employment position based in Trollhättan, but work in other locations within the market area may occur.
